Full Planning Permission granted

Bradford Planners granted full planning permission on 26 March 2025 for Project Beacon to proceed. This followed grant of Listed Building Consent on 11 March 2025. What fantastic news to all concerned! Many thanks to Keighley council for their support, as well as to all the professional experts who provided all the reports needed to satisfy the rigorous requirements of planning law. Thanks also to all those who have given their money and time to make this possible.

We still need permission from the church authorities under a “faculty”, where detailed discussions are continuing. Some additional technical reports (particularly on structural and energy aspects) have been called for, which we are putting in hand. It is a complex project, so these additional requirements are not unexpected and may take several months to be met.
