Applications for statutory approvals filed

One of the key goals set by the Trustees for 2024 was to apply for council planning permission and Church of England faculty consent by the end of the year. This involved the preparation, review and approval of a whole range of technical reports, as well as significant ongoing consultation. We achieved this goal with two weeks to spare!

The faculty application, along with over 50 supporting documents, was filed on 16 December 2024. This has been checked by the Diocesan Advisory Committee, who have already given approval for statutory consultation to begin. The first stage of that process will last until 26 February 2025.

The planning application and supporting papers were filed with Bradford Metropolitan District Council on 17 December 2024 and we await their substantive response in the coming months.
